[Works for me! Though... this entry is like, late morning. Plenty of time to practise "The Raven".]

[As promised Raven arrives at the bar, right on 9 o' clock and heads towards the counter.]

Buffy honey~ Ya here?

[She wouldn't have popped down to Good Spirits until mid-afternoon, anyway.

But when Raven arrives, she looks up with a directionless smile before setting her sights on him.]

Present and accounted for.

[He's more excited than he's trying to show, he really is.]

So let's see it then! Ya've got me all curious now.

I don't plan on disappointing.

[The ingredients are all set out--it only takes a few moments to pop them gently into a cocktail shaker and get her groove on. She strains the ice out, pouring the purple rain martini wannabe into a tall glass, complete with a cute little umbrella.

Now, Buffy's been at this job for a little while but she's no maestro with the mixology. Raven can expect the Raven to be good, but not really anything mind-blowing. Really? People should come for the company and the experience, not the drinks.]

[He takes a long look at the drink, swirling it around in the glass and giving it a little sniff. Looks pretty good, and seeing Buffy get "her groove on" definitely made his evening. So without hesitation he knocks almost half of it back, taking a moment to savour the taste.]

Darlin', I think ya've got a promising career ahead of ya.

I'm not so sure that I'll be quitting my day job anytime soon--[certainly not that she's got her mojo back]--but? Thanks. Please direct all wild and unrestrained praise to Guy.

[She teases, wiping down the work counter and tasting just a single dose of the drink that was left in the cocktail shaker. She makes a classic Buffy-actually-hates-alcohol face.]

[He can't help but pick up on that face.]

Hm? Don't ya like it? I figured workin' in the bar means you'd at least like alcohol.

I like my booze a little less...boozey. [Buffy grimaces.] And usually? My wobbly-pop's a little more pop than wobbly.

But, on the bright side? I don't drink on the job. [Replacing that grimace with a winning smile.]

I guess that makes us complete opposites then. I like mine as hard as they come. There's gotta be somethin' ya like drinking though, even if it's not alcoholic. I can see why they hired you.

I'm partial to a very, very hot hot-chocolate. With extra marshmallows.

Hot-Chocolate ya say? I happen ta be pretty good at makin' sweet things, even if I hate 'em.

That's a pretty ironic kind of culinary curse...but I may have to take you up on it. Test your sweet beverage skills.

Ladies love sweet things, it's never failed me yet!

[She laughs, amused.]

Oh? Just how many ladies have you ensnared with your expertise, huh?

Then I've got a natural defence against your drunk-charming ways. [She smiles.]

Oh but ya couldn't resist my delicious treats. Cake, crepes, cookies, hot-chocolate, anythin' sweet and ya'll be head over heals for this old man's cookin'.

It does all sound particularly fantabulous to a girl who couldn't bake her way out of a wet paper bag.

I do owe some people some nice treats, I'll have to cook some up sometime.

I could always scribble down my address if you have any extra dozens of treats.

Ohhh! [Raven senses tingling.] Scribble it on a piece of paper, not the journal. Don't want the village knowin' where ya live.

[She grabs a napkin and a pen from behind the counter and ducks down over it for a moment.
