[There's an old fart standing on the roof of house #12. How he got up there, or rather, when he got up there is a complete mystery ~~he respawned there~~. In his hands he flips through the pages of the journal, looking for anything remotely interesting that he may have missed. After a while he speaks up.]

Winter certainly caught me off guard, here. All that...snow and coldness. Didn't leave much flexibility on the wardrobe front.

But this place has two clothes shops. I'm sure ya could've found somethin' really flatterin'.

Shiki keeps me well-dressed. [Buffy is very appreciative of the young designer's artistic flare.] But I miss the variety of home. I can't go crying to her every time I feel a wicked jeans craving.

Grab some scissors and have a go at customizin' yourself then! I'm sure she could teach ya a thing or two, then ya wouldn't have ta feel bad over buggin' her!

Yeah, right. I'm having a hard enough time picking up on the barmaid skills--I don't think I'm cut out for a new trade anytime soon. I've tried mending a few combat-victim tops in the past and, honestly? It was mostly a disaster.

[She bites her bottom lip for a moment.] What about you, huh? Got any relevant domestic skills?

D... domestic skills... [He thinks seriously hard about that.] I can cook, master of crepes, but ya knew that. I've been doin' a bit of gardening but otherwise, nah I'm useless at that sorta thing. Just do it cause ya have to.

Pretty much me, too. [She nods. She can barely cook, depends on Bones for doing anything beyond rudimentary tidying, and should never be allowed close to a plumbing repair case.]

Except not even the gardening. Or the cooking. But ooh, crepes? The sugary kind with chocolate and strawb--oh, wait. That's a no on the sweet stuff, right?

[Oh he just sleeps all day and night, there's like, 6 people in the house who do the chores as it is.]

Yup crepes! Only of the only recipes I ever truely mastered~ All kinds of 'em, strawberries, chocolate, banana, you name it!

[Her voice drops with a conspiratorial tone.]

What about peanut butter?

... What's peanut butter?

Oh, no. Way, way no. [Her shock is overwhelming.] You are so in need of a schooling.

[He can't help but laugh.]

Haha, it's that golden stuff in the jar right? I've seen it in town a few times but never tried it.

Guy'll understand if I have to leave the place unattended for a couple of minutes. [She says suddenly, hopping over the counter and reaching out for Raven's arm.]

Especially if it's so importantly in the service of justice.

Oooh where we goin'? [Don't go getting him too excited about peanut butter now xD]

To the shop, duh.

[She'll only be horribly disappointed and possibly cry when you don't like it.]

I didn't realise peanut butter was so important to ya... [Well as he has no real choice then off to the shop it is!]

It's only, y'know, delicious. Especially on sandwiches. Crunchy peanut butter and strawberry jam with the crusts cut off. It'll cure any cold.

[The street lights didn't actually make too much of a diff for Buffy. She who hangs out in cemeteries, after all.]

Mostly, it's kinda peanutish. But we can get you one of those low-sugar natural brands if you're still iffy on it.

The less sweeter it is, the higher up it is on the scale of how much I like.

C'mon, is there really nothing sweet that you like? 'Cause I am channelling some serious doubt here.

Nope, nothin' at all. Can't stand sweet things, long as it's more sour or bitter or somethin'.
