[Raven was sitting on the porch of house 12, debating whether or not to try and brave the light snow fall. He wanted to go buy some red wine and curl up in the warm, ignoring winter forever. He can't ignore the fact that there is a sudden abundance of strange wingless people walking around however.]

Ah right, that. It's somethin' called 'shifting' and it looks like it's pulled a load of folks in by accident. I'm not sure how it works, but I don't think yer supposed ta be here.

"Shifting"? "Shifting". Hmm. It is a word with a meaning, yes, but this is a different meaning! Yes, this is a new meaning. A new definition to a word we already have. Fascinating. How does it work? What can it do? Is this all it does, or does it do more? What else is there, what else?

Uh, well from what I know we were brought here by some people called the "Malnosso", they're in charge of the shiftin' and they're the ones preventing us from leaving. There's also another group who're tryin' ta kill us, the Third Party I think?

Hmm. I see. I see, very interesting. Very interesting. These are new groups. They did not exist where I am from, no, not at all. What are they like? Why do they do this? What is it they seek, what are their methods? Anything, anything you can tell me, whatever it is.

From what I know of the Third Party, they kinda look like us, but with much bigger wings. [He flaps his wings slightly to show them off.]

The Malnosso? I'm not sure, they tend ta send robots out ta kidnap people.

Wings? Where are the wings from? Do you people have wings? Do you all have wings, or is it just a few of you? These wings. Like yours. Who has them, and who doesn't? I don't. But. Who else? This is very curious.

An error. I suppose it's possible. All things have flaws, every design has an error. Am I, then, an error? What would that mean? What malfunctioned, what made a mistake? What put me here, and why was that an accident? Ah, but was it an accident or an error? Maybe it was both. How fascinating this all is. What does that mean for me, then, do you suppose?
