[It's such a lovely day in Luceti that Raven thought it would be quite nice to take the time to cook something new for his fellow housemates. Not out of generosity mind you, more out of sheer boredom since he had no intention of eating it himself. After flicking through the recipe books he had settled on making a refreshing coconut flavoured sorbet.

However, he wasn't expecting coconuts to be this difficult to work with and had no idea how to get it open. After struggling with a knife for twenty minutes he decided that it was going to take more extreme measures to get through it's deceptively furry shell. Using his bow he placed a magic spell into the ground, then jumped back and threw the coconut at it. As a result, the coconut exploded into little pieces and splattered across the front yard, not exactly what he was going for.]

That's it, I give up! [He sighed and scratched his head, he didn't want to waste the nice weather so he needed a new idea. So he decided to grab his journal and ask. Might as well clean up the mess he made too, thinking that maybe he should have just gone to the store to get a hammer instead of being so lazy about it.]

Alright, I'm tryin' ta make a nice summery dessert and I need some suggestions! I'm thinkin' something exotic? Ya know, the kind that screams a nice hot day at the beach? Sorbet, ice cream, parfait, all the stuff I hate eatin' myself and really I don't know all that much about.

[Look at us, aren't we the best housemates you could wish for? We clean up any mess we leave, we make nice desserts and we leave Alexei on the kitchen table in a dress.]

[With that, he gets up and heads out the door. It's a nice day, perfect for destroying things. He's not a violent person but these coconuts deserve it.]

[And soon after, Yuri will be heading outside as well, with both his sword and the coconut.

Sure, if any of the neighbors catch him doing what he's about to do, they'd think he was possibly mentally unbalanced, but right now? Shits given = absolute zero. This is divine justice as far as he sees it.

Regardless of that, he'll head over to wherever Raven's waiting out there.]

Hey, you don't think this thing would ruin my blade or anything if I cut it, right?

[Because while he is all for giving this thing the what-for, he doesn't want to have to preform extra upkeep on his sword because of this |: Maybe he should stick to an arte ...]

As long as it's nice and sharp enough I don't see how it'll be a problem. Not unless that blade is some cheap alternative?

[Looks like a pretty normal sword to me.]

I don't know. That thing gave the cleaver some problems too, you know.

[But whatever, shrugging. He doesn't have any particular attachment to the sword he's got with him currently as it is.]

I guess I'll find out in a second or two.

[Aaaand time to make some distance and find a nice spot for his coconut murder.]

[Raven is moving the hell away from the coconut and the front door. One of them will get destroyed, possibly both, it's Yuri we're dealing with after all.]

[Wow rude. But whatever, Yuri's not really caring or paying attention anyway.

So, once he's a fair distance away, he tosses the coconut up and down in his palm for a few moments before tossing it much higher in the air, taking a quick step back, and giving that thing one hell of a heavy swing the second it falls down enough.

... He doesn't land a PERFECT 10 STARS RIGHT IN HALF cut, but he does come damn close.

... Although, one half did hurtle toward the house, it only hit the side of it, just missing a window. Whoops? No damage done, at least!]

I'd say ya get an eight for that entry position, nine for the execution and another eight for the result. Could've tried a little harder Mr. Lowell~

[He shrugs, giving his sword a shake to get some of the coconut milk off of it.]

Why didn't ya just slice it in half with yer sword in the first place? You could've saved us all that time in the kitchen ya know...

[Hrm, he should probably clean up the coconut halves ... Yeah. He'll go about picking them up while he continues talking.]

I just wanted to give myself a little more of a challenge than that. It would've been way too easy, otherwise.

Riiight, ya wanted more of a "challenge", huh? I did say you could break it however ya want as long as it wasn't with a hammer. [Raven has no excuse he just blew it up because he could.]

Though now that I think about it, don't you also know how ta use axes properly too?

Huh? ... Yeah, I can. Why?

But you prefer usin' a sword?

Yeah. Using axes changes how some of my artes work, so I only use them when I need to.

[That's always interesting to note for if he decides to fight you again, hide all your swords so you have to use an axe.]

But wouldn't an axe let ya deal more damage? I mean, look at the kid with his giant ones.

More or less. I mean, yeah, they hit harder, but I can usually do just as much damage with a sword anyway.

[Yes but then I can lol at how silly you look with an axe.

Nah, there's no ego involved in this. I just know what I'm doing.

Maybe one of these days we should have a little sparrin' fun with our other weapons?

Yeah, sure. I could use a little practice with an ax, anyway.

[I haven't had him backflip for a while, so he'll be doing that now.]

Great! That could be fun, I'm gettin' a little rusty with a sword and it never hurts ta keep ya skills up.

That's what I'm thinking. It'd kind of suck if I got stuck in a draft or something and only had an ax I couldn't use too well, after all.

I wonder if I'm still any good with a sword... I kind of uh, haven't used one fer almost two years now.
