[Raven blows onto the journal, then wipes it with his hand, flicking through the pages to find out when the last time he bothered to make an entry with it was. He sighs, has it really been that long? Even thinking about how long he's been in Luceti for any extended period of time is depressing enough for him.]

If I didn't know any better I'd say this thing was startin' ta gather dust.

For those that hadn't noticed yet, Estelle was sent back home a few days ago. I don't know when exactly, but all her things are gone
[He pauses for a moment. House 12 is really quiet now compared to how it used to be. Of course he cared about the princess, he cared about everyone from their world, he's just finding it weird to see them all going home after so long whilst leaving him behind.]

Anyway! She used ta work in the library here and left some stuff regardin' it behind, or ta be more specific, she left a set of instructions on how ta sort the books as well as a set of keys. From the look of it I guess she wanted someone to take the care of the place if she ever got sent home, and considerin' she was working there long before I showed up then it must've meant a lot to her. I can pass the stuff over to anyone who's interested, just let me know! It's not gonna go anywhere by itself.

Oh, and if this old man's memory isn't failin' him again, which it does a lot, she also had a book club goin'. Books aren't really my thing though, if someone wants to start that up again then feel free. 

That's about it! I got nothin' else worth sayin', wake me up when it's hot enough for the women to break out the swimsuits.

I wouldn't hope anyone come back here soon! Luceti isn't the best place ta be.

[He pauses.] Well, I already promised ta meet Buffy at five fer a nice dinner together, it's been a while.

[lostinmyway]

[She's always surprised when people don't want their friends to come back to Luceti--after all, she thinks it's a good place to live.

But Raven's news pushes aside those thoughts. While she is a little disappointed she won't get to spend some time with him, it's more important that he'll be able to do something fun with a friend.]

Oh, that sounds very nice. I'm sure you'll have a good time with her.

[crisisrain]

That doesn't mean we can't do somethin' together another time though! [He feels bad now D:] But a kid told me you had some plans involving a garden party?

Yes, that's right! [Instant cheer!] I hope we can have it soon. Would you like to come?

I'd love ta come! I could always do with learnin' more about flowers, maybe I might plant some other ones too.

[lostinmyway]

[When she responds, she sounds as though Raven has just made her day.]

Oh, I'm glad! What kind of other flowers would you plant?

[crisisrain]

Hmm... What sort of flowers do ladies like?

[lostinmyway]

Why, all kinds. [She sounds confused when she goes on.] But wouldn't you want to plant the kinds of flowers you like?

[crisisrain]

I can't say I know many types of flowers, aside from the lilies, and even then I only know one type.

[lostinmyway]

Oh, there are lots and lots of flowers, like crocuses and tulips and sunflowers and bluebells and pansies and irises....

[She sounds fully prepared to list all the flowers...at least until her memory gives out.]

[He raises his hand up towards the journal.]

Okay, okay! I get the idea. Maybe you can show me some of these flowers in person? That might be a lot easier!

[lostinmyway]

All right! You could come to the special garden. Or maybe my home!

[She could show him her collection of indoor plants!]

Your home? [A strange invitation to receive.] Where do you live?

[lostinmyway]

[Promptly:] I live in House 34!

[She sounds rather like someone drilled this into her head--which they did.]

[crisisrain]

House thirty-four, huh? I'm not too sure where that is. Ah well, I'll find it! There's a map after all!

Do ya have a load of flowers there?

[lostinmyway]

Oh, yes. I have lots of flowers outside and inside!

[She isn't kidding. Norma refers to her outdoor garden as a jungle. While there may not be as much in it this early in the season, it's still...extensive.]

Inside? Ya mean like potted plants? Or the ones you've just picked and put in a vase?

[lostinmyway]

I have both! But there aren't many flowers to pick yet, so most of them are in pots.

[crisisrain]

Ah, right. I guess flowers don't like the winter much, do they? I can't say I saw any around while it was snowin'.

[lostinmyway]

Yes, there aren't very many flowers outside when it's cold.

[crisisrain]

[He laughs.] Maybe the flowers are like this old man then! They hate the cold too!

[lostinmyway]

Don't you like the winter, Raven?

[But it's so much fun!]

[crisisrain]

I don't like it! Not one bit! It's too cold, these old bones can't take it! I end up chattering my teeth with purple lips and a runny nose.

[lostinmyway]

My, that doesn't sound very good at all. Don't you have any warm clothing?

[Asks the woman who forgets to dress for the weather more than half the time.]

You've seen how big my coat is for yerself, but I have a scarf too. I just prefer not ta go out at all.
