[Raven blows onto the journal, then wipes it with his hand, flicking through the pages to find out when the last time he bothered to make an entry with it was. He sighs, has it really been that long? Even thinking about how long he's been in Luceti for any extended period of time is depressing enough for him.]

If I didn't know any better I'd say this thing was startin' ta gather dust.

For those that hadn't noticed yet, Estelle was sent back home a few days ago. I don't know when exactly, but all her things are gone
[He pauses for a moment. House 12 is really quiet now compared to how it used to be. Of course he cared about the princess, he cared about everyone from their world, he's just finding it weird to see them all going home after so long whilst leaving him behind.]

Anyway! She used ta work in the library here and left some stuff regardin' it behind, or ta be more specific, she left a set of instructions on how ta sort the books as well as a set of keys. From the look of it I guess she wanted someone to take the care of the place if she ever got sent home, and considerin' she was working there long before I showed up then it must've meant a lot to her. I can pass the stuff over to anyone who's interested, just let me know! It's not gonna go anywhere by itself.

Oh, and if this old man's memory isn't failin' him again, which it does a lot, she also had a book club goin'. Books aren't really my thing though, if someone wants to start that up again then feel free. 

That's about it! I got nothin' else worth sayin', wake me up when it's hot enough for the women to break out the swimsuits.

Hold on a sec! [He shouts from within the house, followed by the sounds of clutter being knocked over. Not that he tripped on the way to the door or anything.

He eventually opens the door and gestures towards the living area.]

Ah, Kazuma, right? Come in!

[A nod.] Hello, Mr. Raven.

[He said that rather sheepishly before he slowly enters his home.]

Raven. It's just Raven. [He shuts the door behind you, it's cold dammit!]

Take a seat wherever ya want, maybe by a table so you have somethin' ta lean on, I'll go grab her notes. [And he walks off towards Estelle's room. Taking his time of course, no rush.]

...Raven. All right. [He'll never get used to dropping formalities in this place. After Raven wanders off, he'll find himself said table in the living room and get out his materials.]

How many copies am I making exactly? [He's not sure who else is actually working at the library.]

[Raven returns to the living area, carefully placing the notes onto the table before taking a seat.]

Let's see... I know four names including you. I was givin' the original to Helios since he offered to take up the management position. So draft up five of them, then we got one extra since he did say there were a few others.

Helios? [Hm, someone he should get in touch with later.] Ok then. [He looks over the notes for a moment. Ah, they were simple enough to transfer. He'll just have to watch that his handwriting is readable]

How did you know, Miss Estelle? If you don't mind me asking.

What, can't a guy know a young lady without it bein' suspicious?! [He laughs, he's just joking, kid.]

We're from the same world. Back home we did a fair bit of travellin' together.

I met her through the book club. I didn't really get to talk with her very much, but she was always very nice when we were.

Yeah, she was very nice wasn't she? [He sounds sincere in that. She did forgive him despite everything that happened.]

Ah, now that you mention it I don't think anyone has offered ta keep runnin' the book club. Looks like you guys are gonna have ta just make do with the library.

Oh...well I guess at least until someone does. [The thought did cross his mind but...he's no leader. He glances at his work for a moment.]

Ah, thank you for letting me use your place to work by the way. I wasn't sure if I should do it here or back home...

Oh! It's not just my place, Judith lives here too! Besides, it's easier if ya do it here, since then I can pass the master copy on myself. I don't have ta worry about it gettin' lost or anythin' then.

Yup! There used ta be a load of us here in Luceti, I mean a good nine or ten. Now we're down to three.

That many? [...and they all just disappeared.] Maybe they'll come back again, or the rest of you will get sent home too.

Would I really want them ta come back though? Into this hellish hole? I think they're better off back home where they can at least get on with their lives.

As fer me goin' home, it doesn't make a difference. I do miss it sometimes, don't get me wrong! But I don't mind bein' stuck here either.

...hm. [How did he see this place? After knowing his own fate, was he better off here or returning home to complete the task he was created for?]

For you to say you don't mind being here, does that mean there's something about this place you like?

Hard ta say. [He scratches his chin, thinking for a moment before continuing.]

Fer me it's more of a cowardice. My world back home is on the verge of the two pretty crappy apocalyptic options. One, the entire human race is sacrificed. Or two, all of the aer in the world is consumed and everyone, including the planet itself, dies. Of course there are kids tryin' to stop it, and I'm one of them, I guess I don't really wanna face it yet.

[He sighs.] That's not the only reason of course! It's just the most easily explained.

Air? So your world is basically suffocating? [He stops writing for a moment at the thought] That...well either way, neither of those sound good. Although, why just humans?

Uh, no not the type of air you breathe. It's like the make-up of all things, everythin' is made of aer, living things, rocks, water... You get the idea.

As to why it's human though? I s'pose someone just thinks we deserve it.

[a nod] I see...I think anyone would be scared to go back to something like that. I would.

I'm not scared of death or anythin' like that! It's... ah nevermind. It doesn't matter here at the end of the day.

What about your world then?

Ah, it's...not really going as well either. A creature we call the Black Beast appeared out of no where one day and it has been destroying our world since it showed up.

No one has been able to figure out how to stop it yet...at least not in my time. I've met others from my world here who told me the Black Beast was already destroyed in their time. So that's...it's a little comforting to know. Didn't you have someone here before who knew if your plans worked or not?

Unfortunately not, seems like I was the furthest along in the timelines order. Didn't help that our timelines went a little differently either, but hey, what can ya do about it?

Oh...well, it's not like we have any say about staying or going here. So all I can really say to that is hopefully things turn out ok whenever you do return home.

[And he soon finishes the first set of notes.] Is this ok? [Kazuma's handwriting wasn't anything fancy, but at least it was neat and readable.]
