Ya know, I'm gonna skip straight ta the point. Anyone care ta tell this old man what the date is? Last time I was here it was somethin' like August.

[He pauses for a minute. August sounded right to him, but it had been an exceptionally long time since he'd last been here. Was August even a legitimate month, it wasn't native to his calendar. He wasn't even certain if this is how you use the journal properly. It had been several months for him and his memory isn't very kind.]

Actually, is anyone I know even around anymore? I've got no idea how long it's been. Just when I thought I'd finally gotten rid of this place.

It's probably been a few hundred by now. But that's a good thing! That means all of those people got the chance to go back home after being brought here.

That can't be easy fer someone like you. Forever watchin' everyone else around ya coming back and forth like it's nobodies business.

It's better for them to go home than stay here. I mean... they've got people waiting for them, right?

I guess you're right. And... I don't really mind it here myself. Um, well, most of the time. The experiments do kind of get annoying after a while.

I wish I'd just get stuck here instead of bein' sent back and forth all the time. Do you know how confusin' it is? It's crazy! I'm losin' my mind trying ta keep track of everythin'!

Oh, and I actually live right down the road from you now! I moved into House 4 with Stahn and Shing and Dug-- I like it a lot better than living all by myself, even if I do have to get groceries every day.
