[As it's a lovely, sunny afternoon Raven has finally decided to start growing the seeds he received from Flonne last week. He's been out in the garden behind house 12 for the past two hours digging up the dirt, placing the seeds, watering the ground and generally making sure he's planting them in an area where they aren't going to be destroyed when Repede decides to do his doggy business. As he finishes the last of the seeds his attention is caught when he spots a woman disappearing around the side of the building.]

Casey...?

[He quickly darts onto his feet without hesitation. But as he begins his pursuit he accidently kicks over the full watering can onto his journal. Turning around to inspect what he'd just collided with he notices the soaking wet book lying open on the ground and begins to panic. He picks it up and starts desperately shaking it dry.]

Aaaaaah! Oh geez, is it broken?! I was havin' such a nice day gardenin' too, I didn't mean ta wreck the book! It'll dry out right?

[He continues shaking the pages for a few minutes before finally giving up and sitting on the dry part of the grass, unsure of whether he did actually see her pass by or if he was just going crazy. It couldn't just be a co-incidence that he sees her on the day he's planting her favourite flower could it? He doesn't know what to think about all of this, so he just hopes nobody heard him shout her name through the journal.]

[This guy has been grumping about for days while hiding the fact that he's grumping about, but that's not as important as the fact that he's been hanging around the porch area when all this went down.

... Did the old man just say 'Casey'? Wasn't that someone he mentioned ~~during a sidequest~~ sometime before they headed off to Zaude? ... Seemed familiar, anyway. Regardless, he'll get off the porch and head over to the back of the house.]

I wouldn't worry about that thing. Even if it fell it in the river, it'd still work.

[Oh, sup Yuri. Nice to see you remember I have a sidequest. Though he has been using her bow since he arrived but you're too early to know that dude. Either way he sees you over there and waves the journal in your direction.]

I was tempted to do just that when Lexy contacted me the first time!

[Veeeeeery slight pause when Raven mentions Alexei, but he's just going to skate right over that.]

Should've done it anyway. [NEXT TOPIC--] I'm a little surprised to see you doing something like gardening, though. Never thought you'd be the type.

Before ya start callin' me crazy! I saw her in person earlier just after I finished plantin' the seeds. She vanished round the side of the buildin' but before I could chase after her I got sidetracked by a soggy book.

[~~I had a feeling it was some sort of witchcraft like that~~ Oh, great, Raven's seeing things too. Maybe this thing is a little more widespread that he first thought.]

I'd still call you crazy, especially since I didn't see anyone pass by, but ... seems like you're not alone in the seeing-things department, lately.

I could call ya crazy fer takin' old Lexy on while ya were so raged up. What was that about huh? Startin' trouble with that jerk is my job! Let me guess, ya saw something too and he just happened ta be there at the worst time?

That and he agreed not ta go about causin' trouble.

I could care less why he was there -- the point is, I was outside when he came to me, and I walked away when he started taunting me. If he thinks following people who already said to buzz off and trying to provoke them isn't "causing trouble", then maybe I'll throw a dictionary at him the next time I see him. [Or through his window, with a bookmark on the page for the definition of "asshole".]

If ya throw a dictionary at him, try not to aim for the armor on his stomach alright?

Shut up, I wasn't thinking when I did that. [More like he had a ~BRILLIANT PLAN~ that would've actually worked if that armor weren't there. Or were thinner. ... Something.]

I've told ya before how strong Alexei is, if yer havin' trouble fightin' him then I bet even this old man could take ya down.

Oh yeah? Just so you know, I was already tired out when Alexei started messing with me -- you think you can beat me when I'm not?

Whatever makes ya feel tougher kid. If ya were on Alexei's level ya wouldn't have been tired from all that trainin' anyway.

Who said I wanted to be on his level? [Geez, Raven. If he's going to take that jerk down, he wants it to be a challenge.]

Ah right, ya wanna stay weak then so when he kidnaps Estelle you won't be able to rescue her. I get it now, if that's what works for ya.
