Hm? Uh, sure gimme a sec. [Back into the closet he goes, it's buried right at the bottom where Flynn won't look. He gets enough of the Captain Schwann shouting as it is. Eventually he finds it, removing it from the cloth it's wrapped in he brings it over to Emil.]

[He'll reach out his hands to indicate that he wants to hold it and get a better look. The fact that someone like him holds the title "Knight of Ratatosk" is kind of embarrassing in the face of a real knight who can actually fight and protect people, unlike him.]

[He passes the sword to Emil and sits down yet again.]

Weird ta think I've had that sword for ten years now. My bow, ya've seen it before right? Well that bow used to belong to her, it's her families famed bow and it took me a really long time ta find it.

[He tilts his head.]

I can't remember if I've seen your bow before or not. I probably have if you've ever been outside practicing with it. That was really nice of her family to give it to you, though, especially since it must've meant so much to them too.

Uh well... They didn't give it ta me. The bow got lost in the war when she died and I only got it less than a few weeks before turnin' up here.

... oh. Um, it's good that you found it?

Yeah it is! I spent a decade lookin' for it after all!

I'm amazed that it hadn't been destroyed or picked up by someone else.

Oh it was. I traded somethin' for it, good deal if ya ask me! [He pulls it out from underneath his coat, flipping it back into it's bow form.] Casey really loved this bow. Shame my sword doesn't have some kinda backstory to it huh?

I don't know, it might be better that it doesn't have a backstory like that, not if it means that someone had to die for it. Stories can make things painful sometimes.

[And once again, his hand rests absentmindedly over whatever it is that's under his shirt.]
