[Raven's been at that wine in the fountain for a good hour or so now. When life gives you lemons take them, they're free lemons right? He's pretty out of it - hugging anyone who happens to pass by, even the guys. Yeah there's birds being lovey-dubey and some flowers he keeps treading on, not to mention the fountain itself. But he's occupied with getting wasted, because you know, he has priorities. Fortunately for you guys he was affected and taken about 3 days ago.]

[This face] These feelings...it isn't what it seems, is it?

I had a feelin' ya'd probably figure it out, but it looks like this is just another one of those Malnosso experiments. I spoke to a couple of people who said the same thing happened 'round this time last year too. It's kinda different to what I was told, last year there wasn't a fountain with wine and stuff.

Even if this is an just experiment and it means ya really don't care about me at all... I wanna see ya smile, I wanna see ya bein' happy! Because the moment yer sent home your life is goin' ta end and I don't want you to die feelin' like yer alone. [He pauses for a moment, thinking the next part over carefully. Unsure of whether what he's feeling is genuine or not.]

...I wonder if that will hold true after this week. [He wants to believe that, and he does for the time being, but knowing that this was just another experiment...he had his doubts.] I've always worked alone, I knew exactly what I wanted and nobody could tell me otherwise. I ignored all the warnings and therefore it led to my own end. After everything I've done, what can be a more fitting punishment then to die alone?

[He turns laying on his back] Can't say I don't care about you at all. I could have just left you in the snow, left you again like I did in Baction, and forget your very existence...but I don't want that to happen.

Why did ya come for me in the snow? That was before this experiment began and even further before that you treated me like a crappy tool by bargin' into my room. It doesn't add up.

[Raven sighs and rolls over to face away.] Forget about yer feelings fer a moment and answer me one thing honestly with her head. Do ya care about me?

...It's complicated.

[Honestly? With the event's effect influencing them, his response may or may not be the whole truth. Evenso, he does value Raven's life, that much he's sure of.] I do. [He glances over at him, a hand placed on his shoulder] I really do.

Then why can't I shake the feelin' that if this an experiment, the moment it ends yer gonna hate me?

[He turns and places his arms around Raven. His head pressed up against his back]

We're never gonna have an easy life are we?

It was never easy to begin with.

Are ya talkin' about being a couple or just bein' friends though?

As friends. If this is an experiment, I doubt the couple will work.

[Yea...it's leaving Alexei with a funny feeling too. So he'll just hold tightly onto Raven to cope with it]

What about if we did try after the experiment ends? Ya know, ta be more than friends? [Baww he loves you so much right now even though he hates you.]

[...] If there's a chance of that possibility, I'm willing if you are.

What about if ya hate me, would ya be still willin' then?

I would ask you the same thing, since before this event, you had told me how much you hated me.

Then I'm only gonna say this once, so listen up cause I'm gettin' embarassed OK?

Right now I love you, I love ya more than anything. Each moment I spend with ya right here, or wherever we happen ta be, is the best feelin' in the world. I don't want to see ya hurt, I don't want to see ya sad and I definitely don't want to see you injured or dyin' again. I told ya, I want ta see you happy and if I can be the one to make you feel that way, then you can bet I will. I love ya, and I want ya to be happy.

Right now, what about after? I feel the same about you, but will you feel the same after all of this?

...Then there's no need for any further concern. If you want it badly enough, you'll find a way. [his hand locates Raven's heart] I was able to, didn't I? Or came close.

[Feeling Alexei's hand on his heart once again, Raven brings his up and places it on top. It's nice to have someone who's not freaked out by it ;_;]

Just promise not ta hate me if I do.

[Maybe in actuality, he just cares about his precious invention. He keeps his hand placed over his heart, as if to bring to it some warmth]
