MISTLETOE!

Why did nobody tell me 'bout that tradition before?! All these years I could've gotten a free kiss from a pretty lady for danglin' a flower over her head, gone to waste!

Well, it was originally considered the plant of peace in Norse mythology. When enemies met by chance underneath it in the forest, they had to lay down their arms and not fight until the next day. But the tradition of actually kissing under it came from another myth where it was declared that mistletoe would bring love, which is why couples started kissing under the mistletoe.

I believe that is just for a guy and girl. Originally the tradition in some places was that when a gentleman just a girl under the mistletoe, he had to remove one of the berries from the plant. When all the berries were gone, they couldn't kiss anymore women under it.

Well, a lot of people don't follow that tradition anymore so I think you'll be fine with any mistletoe.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Finland.

Yes, it is. I know there are some who love that tradition.

It's nice to meet you too.

No, I can't blame them. There needs to be more love in the world. People need to be nicer to each other.
