Hey I got a little problem I could use some help with. There's this nice, little, teenage girl who's never read a book before, so I told her I'd get her one as a surprise gift. But uh, I'm drawin' up a blank. What kinda books do girls even read nowadays?

Well I already had one lecture on 'not judgin' a book by it's cover'. Guessin' it wouldn't hurt to actually check what was inside once in a while.

But that defeats the surprise. Especially cause some of those books are backwards, ya pick 'em up, open them and it's the end of the book! What's with that?!

Certain of it! The book started at the right, and read to the left. That's now how books are written where I'm from.

Occidental languages are read from left to right, yes. Oriental languages are not. The books will reflect this.
