Hey I got a little problem I could use some help with. There's this nice, little, teenage girl who's never read a book before, so I told her I'd get her one as a surprise gift. But uh, I'm drawin' up a blank. What kinda books do girls even read nowadays?

Urgh I don't wanna be givin' her a romantic one. Might send the wrong message of a secret admirer. That could be amusin' for a while....

But nope! Never read a book before, I thought about givin' her a picture book or somethin' but she seems ta be able to read.

Just to be safe, I'd go for some kind of fiction. It'd probably be easiest to ask, but since it's a surprise...

There's alot of books about fiction though. It's tryin' to the find the right one that she'll actually enjoy that's a toughy.

That's a shame, she comes across as a nice kid too. But knowin' her is better than not knowin' her! I've only spoken to her properly once.

Well, I guess you could call us friends.

Anyway, I'd go with... fantasy, maybe? Or...Sci-Fi, I guess. Something a bit out there, since she's probably seen at least a few other worlds.
