[It was late in the afternoon and seeing as Flynn hadn't emerged from his room all day, Raven decided to invite himself inside. He wasn't expecting it to be completely bare. It took him by surprise for a moment. Flynn had been in Luceti for as long as he could recall, to suddenly disappear like this after all this time, it could be said that he felt genuinely sad by his absence.]

Hey, listen up for a minute would ya? [He really didn't want to do this, but someone had to and he knew once Yuri found out then he was likely to need some time to himself.]

Turns out Flynn Scifo's been sent home, all his stuff is gone. [Raven paused for a moment, so many from his world had been sent home these past few months, it was becoming hard not to feel discouraged by it all.] That's about it. Sorry ta anyone who knew him.

[Raven is still in the house, he's in the living area on the couch, ~~where he belongs~~. Seeing Yuri dash straight past in a rush meant only one thing.

Oh well, getting up and coming over.]

Sorry kid, I wasn't tellin' a joke today.

[Yuri glances back at Raven for a second before looking back at the room.]

... Yeah. I know.

[Hence forth comes that awkward moment between two guys where the one clearly needs consolidation, but the other is completely incompetent at making others feel better.]

You gonna be alright?

[Awkward indeed. This is hitting him harder than he thought something like this might, so he'll just go for what he always does - act like it's not bothering him anywhere near as much as it actually is.]

Yeah. [shrug] He's been here a lot longer than most people. It's about time he got a chance to go back.

Ya don't know yet, he might end up comin' back in no time like we did! [... He doesn't sound very convincing.] Just... don't let it get to ya too much. He's back where he should be, doin' knightly things he loves to do.

I'm not gonna let it get to me. ... Besides, even if I wouldn't wish this place on anyone a second time around, he might show up again, like you said. [With that, he turns around--] So, I'm not gonna get worked up about it. I'll try to make sure Estelle doesn't, either.

[-- and starts to walk off. ... He doesn't seem to be heading for Estelle's room, though.]

[He's not going to follow, but that isn't to say he's not concerned.]

Ya know, you don't have to shoulder this all on yer own, right? Our numbers are really dwindling, it's at times like this we gotta stick together even more so than before.

[He stops when he hears that. ... Raven's right. It's just him, Estelle, and the old man left in this house. He can't keep stalking off on his own and keeping everything to himself whenever something like this happens.

... But for right now, he needs to go for a walk to relax a bit. Old habits are hard to break, on top of that. But ... he'll make an attempt to be less closed off. Soon.]

I know ... I just need to get a little air, that's all.

[Raven will start to walk back over to the couch, he has nothing better to do. He seems quite dismissive in what he's saying, but there's still a sort of sincerity underneath it.]

I'm gonna miss him too. Not very often people call me by that name anymore, a part of me sorta enjoyed scoldin' him for it. Heh, he'll be back eventually, he's as persistant as you can be!

[Smirking a little at that.]

Heh ... He's more persistent than I'll ever be. I wouldn't be surprised if he came back tomorrow.

See, that's the spirit!

When he does come back? Ya can punch him fer ever leavin' in the first place. [Like everyone does to me.]

[You old jerk you're not supposed to make him feel better!! Now he might not go for as long a walk as he was planning!

Anyway. Shrugging, then starting to head for the front door again.]

Not a bad idea. I'll keep it in mind.

[Lying back down on the couch now, lazy, so lazy.]

Don't be gone too long. I'll see ya in time fer dinner. [That's not a question, it's more of a statement. You should try to be back by dinner.]

Right. I'll be back soon.

[And he's leaving now. ~~AND HE DOESN'T COME BACK IN TIME FOR DINNER---~~ nah he will. Just barely.]

[Because he comes back this is so much sometime later.

Your dinner is there on the kitchen table. It's an omelette, with Flynn's face drawn on with ketchup.

Raven thought of you.]

[When he gets home after a long day of ... something (likely the battledome), he'll wander over to the kitchen to see if he got back in time for dinner or not. He kind of got a little distracted while he was out. Then he sees the omelette.

...

He'll sigh, smirking a bit. That doesn't just remind him of Flynn, but Karol, too. ... He's really going to miss those two being around.

Well, whatever the case, he's hungry, so he'll be heading over to the table to start eating.]

[Sneaking up behind Yuri with his amazing ninja powers, he taps him on the shoulder.]

So! Do ya like it? I tried copyin' what the boss used ta do.

[Yuri takes a quick glance behind him at that, but he more or less had a feeling he knew who it was already. Regardless, in response to what he says, he shrugs a little.]

It's not as good-looking as the captain's, but it's not bad either.

Hey! I think it's pretty good fer a first try. I can't really remember what he looked like anyway, I don't pay much attention ta guys.

[He pulls up a seat at the table, keeping a distance from Yuri.]

I remember when we used ta not have enough room at this table ta sit everyone...

[At that, he gives the table itself a once-over. At one point, the house really was that packed, wasn't it. Rita, Karol, Flynn, Nan ... Judith and--

... and? Was there someone else? There was, wasn't there? Someone who, if he could remember clearly, would fill in the blanks for the other memories he's been having some trouble making sense of but decided to give up on for the time being ...

--Not now. That's something he'll try to ponder on a little more later. He'll just try to focus on his food for right now as he responds, but he may come off as a bit distracted.]

... Yeah. This place really used to be packed back then.

Yeah, things used ta be so hectic! Especially when the baby was around, none of us would ever get a good nights sleep with all that noise. [And by night he means the afternoon.]

Maybe it's a good thing though! Well, it's not a good thing ta lose friends, but I mean havin' a more peaceful house! It'll be less stress, more storage room... [He sighs.] It just ain't gonna be the same.

[He quickly perks up again, an idea striking.] Oh, hey! What if we're all being sent home slowly? People are still comin' in, yeah, but lots of people disappeared this month! And the Malnosso haven't kidnapped anyone fer a while either, not that I know of! Maybe all these drafts and experiments are comin' to an end! Wouldn't that be great?

[Though he's well aware that the world he'd be sent back to would not be the same one this Yuri was from. That kind of stings the back of his mind, yet he knows the kid will always be the same in each timeline. He's just become quite attached to this version. It may not seem like it, but this old man really wants to keep his memories of his time here. He doesn't want everything to be erased as if it never happened, he doesn't want himself, or Yuri, or Estelle to ever forget the people they met in this little bubble. Knowing that it's likely to happen should they ever get sent back again doesn't fill him with any kind of confidence. Alas, he tries to look at the brighter side of things, the stuff he doesn't have to think about.]

[---A baby? Yuri more or less stares blankly at Raven as he continues talking, but he's not really listening to everything he's saying. That's right, there was a baby here. And of all things, it was ... his, wasn't it? His and Judy's ...

What was his name? ... He really can't remember the name of his own--

It's right around there that he tries to move his thoughts away from that and back to what Raven's going on about. ... Unfortunately, he decided to tune in right around the last few sentences. Well, that's ... that's enough to respond to without looking too suspicious, right? Yeah ...]

Ah, yeah ... I mean, with the way some of the Malnosso talk to us, I don't think they'd really keep it a secret if things were almost over, but it'd sure be nice if they were.

[It's not difficult to notice when someone has become spacey unfortunately. He may have been lost in his own thoughts, but he did spot something.]

... You sure yer alright, kid?

Huh? [Whoops. Maybe he answered weirdly? ... Well, he is kind of tired, so let's go with that.] Yeah, I'm fine. Just ... tired, that's all.

[Raven mentions a baby, Yuri zones out a bit and seems only slightly affected... hmm...]

I actually meant ta ask you somethin', how are those memories of bein' here before coming along?
