[There's an old man walking through the village. He doesn't seem lost, so to speak, but more as if he's just taking a leisurely look around as he attempts to familiarize himself with the new location. Eventually, he comes to a halt at the crossroads near house 27, opening the journal in the hope of finding a map.]

Right... where have I ended up now then?...

[He stands there, glancing around the area and then looking back towards the book. He kept telling himself over and over inside his head that he wasn't lost, how could he get lost? None of this was making any sense at all.]

[OOC: I should probably make this clear. Raven has been retconned, he has no memories of his previous time in Luceti as he's been taken from an earlier timepoint in the canon.]

[A voice? It sounded quite familiar, definitely one he'd heard not too long ago and a feminine one at that! He looked around the area.]

Huh? Are ya hidin'?

No, I'm talking to you through the journal. [as if it's most obvious thing in the world, yes.]

[Not to him! He looks back at the journal, examining it in suspicion.]

Oh! So ya are... I don't know if I wanna ask how that works...

[Then he realises who the voice belongs to.]
Hey wait, yer that girl from the Huntin' Blades? Karol's girlfriend?

[Waiiit a minute. She is Karol's girlfriend then?]

Now I don't remember ya actually hookin' up with the kid. Last time I saw you, ya came across as bein' hostile...

You left before that. [... and wow, that was the first time she admitted that they're dating. tsundere blush!]

Ah, young love~! How I envy you! Well, not fer datin' Karol, but ya get what I mean!

[Before he left. He was sure he'd left the group enough times to give them to space to have something like this happen. He's not really aware you're implying Luceti.]

[As Buffy walks through the village, she sees Raven. She has to stop, blink a few times, look over her shoulder, shake her head and stare some more before she manages to even believe what she's seeing.

But...it's possible. People come back. Forgetting entirely that--oh yeah--it's a bad thing to be stuck in Wing World, she rushes up to him with a smile.]

[That voice. He'd never forget that voice-- never thought he'd hear it again either, after Raven had been sent home, and suddenly his throat goes tight and it's a long moment before he can manage words.]

[No way, it couldn't possibly be--! But it did sure sound like her old friend. Was he really back again? Tentatively, Miyabi questions.]

Mister Raven...?

[There's no doubt about it! There's no one else with that voice who can sound so old!]

Captain-- ... Raven!

[Oh, now he gets it. She's one of those women from the bars in Dahngrest, that's gotta be the logical explanation here right? He raises a hand to tell her to stop.]

Sorry hun, now ain't a good time for this sorta thing. Kinda busy ya know? I'm sure there are plenty of other guys who can give ya some attention today.

[Her smile falls. What's this?]

But--Raven. It's not the att--[Oh. Right. She has been through this song and dance before. Buffy's arms drop and she hugs herself, instead.] You have no idea who I am, do you? Nada. Blank slate.

[Another talking book person, but not a voice he recognizes this time. How did these people know who he was, where the hell is he?]

Yup! That's me!

[For a moment he had a theory that the voices from the book were people living inside it. That was quickly dismissed.]

Drop the Mister part sweetie, it's just Raven.
