[There's an old man walking through the village. He doesn't seem lost, so to speak, but more as if he's just taking a leisurely look around as he attempts to familiarize himself with the new location. Eventually, he comes to a halt at the crossroads near house 27, opening the journal in the hope of finding a map.]

Right... where have I ended up now then?...

[He stands there, glancing around the area and then looking back towards the book. He kept telling himself over and over inside his head that he wasn't lost, how could he get lost? None of this was making any sense at all.]

[OOC: I should probably make this clear. Raven has been retconned, he has no memories of his previous time in Luceti as he's been taken from an earlier timepoint in the canon.]

So ya shoot stuff then? Guns are easy ta fire, try use a bow if ya want a challenge!

I don't really care about the challenge - just want to be sure I can protect myself.

Haha, I can understand that. I wonder if I'd be any good at usin' a gun? I've never tried ta be honest.

They can have a pretty nasty recoil at times.

Depends on the gun I s'pose. A little handgun isn't gonna be as bad as say, a shotgun.

Yeah, but it can still be quite a kick when you're not use to it.

Really? Can't say I've ever used one so I wouldn't know. Little Patty is just a kid and she seems ta be able to use one no problem.

So what kinda gun do ya use?

Just a hand gun. It's small and travels easily.

How do ya find bullets for it in a place like this?

Well, bullets are expensive back home, so I don't really like to fire it. So I still have lots of bullets.

But, I suppose I could check the smithy if I run out.

How many do you have?

Just a handful or so. A couple rounds. [Way too damn many to count.]

That's why I don't use a gun. Bullets are no good after they've been fired, but as long as an arrow doesn't break it can be used again! See that? I'm enviromentally friendly!

That and bullets are expensive. It's a multitude of reasons really.

It never hurts to learn new things I guess. We'll have to pick a time to trade weapons then.
