Ta be honest, it's a shame the kid isn't here ta help. Karol might be young, but he's grown up with the guilds, he knows the workings better than anyone. I learned a lot about the politics and ethics the guilds themselves hold in comparison to the Empire, their rules are unique to each one, they can be shaped however they want ta be shaped and can become whatever they aspire to be.

That freedom of action is somethin' ya don't experience within the Empire, it's a factor that you and me both can only pretend ta truly understand. Even though we both defected from one to the other, ya can never just discard yer roots.
